First, there was plastic surgery Now there is botox. Where a toxin is injected into your face to paralyze your facial muscles, to erase the lines on your face.

Scary isn’t it? Then again, if you were gorgeous in your youth, if your face were your fortune, wouldn’t you do everything possible to preserve your youthful appearance for as long as possible.

Natural Remedies for Skin Conditions: Do they work?

For example, in India researchers are experimenting with camel milk for lightening the skin. The government sponsored researchers have tried camel milk based cream on about 20 subjects and claim that it actually works in lightening their skin. In India, it’s a national obsession to have fair or light skin and defines beauty for women. Many types of creams, such as “Fair and Lovely” are sold on the market to lighten the skin and the market is huge for alternative treatments.

Fasting is anti-aging because it rids your body of toxins, which impair your longevity health. In addition, it helps to control your weight, which is often an aging factor. Fasting is the most efficient and effective way of detoxification.

What is fasting?
Fasting is voluntary abstinence from food and drink, except water, for an extended period.

Fasting is not starvation which is abstinence continued beyond your body’s nutrient reserves. In other words, starvation may exhaust your body’s stored nutrients to the point of presenting health hazards, while fasting is still “consuming” the nutrient reserves stored in your body. There is a big difference.
