Tired of looking tired? Try Perlane!
Filed under (perlane) by webmaster @ 04:05 am

Tired of looking tired? Try Perlane! The FDA recently approved Perlane as an injectible filler. Like Restalyne, it is also made from hyaluronic acid but with one big difference. The gel particles in Perlane are larger than in Restalyne and therefore they can be used to treat deeper creases or folds in the skin. Outside the US, Perlane has been in use since 2000. The manufacturer of Perlane, Medicis claims the effects last for about 6 months. Recently, Juvederm made by competitor Allergan got FDA approval for the claim that it’s results last about 12 months.

The cost of treatment with Perlane is about $400 per session. Depending on the area to be treated and the extent of treatment required, the number of sessions may vary. To maintain the results, the treatments have to be continued periodically with top-up injections. Also, treatment should be considered only at a reputable clinic with an experienced physician. Side-effects of Perlane are rare and if administered by an experienced physician, everything should go smoothly.
